Eid al-Adha or the "festival of sacrifice" is usually a busy time for our Islamic communities as people gather for morning prayer from tomorrow and over the weekend, followed by sharing foods and sweets.

Unfortunately this year is going to look different as we all take action to keep everybody safe and healthy.

You can still celebrate this special day; just make sure it complies with restrictions. We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with the family members you live with and it brings joy in this difficult time.

Sincerely

Genevieve Simson, Executive Principal

Current Year 10 students are about to commence selecting their courses for study in 2021.
Typical questions families are now considering are: VCE or VCAL? What is a VET subject and should I choose this path? Will my preferred career require studying certain subjects?
From 7pm on Tuesday, 28 June parents (and their Year 10 students) will be able to view a pre-recorded information session detailing the options available. It has been pre-recorded to ensure it's accessible for those unable to join at this time. The link will go live from 7pm.
Members of the College Careers team - Tarsh Boyko, Mary-ann Linehan, Ruth O'Bree, Ant Newham and Graeme Crosbie will be available from 7pm - 8:30pm to answer your inevitable questions. You can send them through directly to these staff via your child's Teams or via email. Alternatively you can contact them at school from tomorrow via Compass.
Current Year 12 students are also now considering employment and training options for 2021.

From 7pm on Wednesday, 29 June parents (and their Year 12 students) will be able to view their own pre-recorded information session  with the Careers team again available for questions.

Both these pre-recorded sessions will remain online for families to view and review over coming weeks.
