Dear parents/guardians and carers, 

As part of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out, all Victorians aged 12 years and older are now . Getting vaccinated is the best way you can protect yourself, your family and our school community from further outbreaks and the spread of COVID-19. 

Vaccination is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged, except where your medical practitioner advises you otherwise. 

Jabba the Bus mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be at ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢, McGuire Campus, 92-100 Wilmot Road, Shepparton between 9am to 4pm on Saturday 23 October.

Students and their families, in addition to community members, are strongly encouraged to visit the pop-up vaccination clinic during the designated times.

You can walk in to get vaccinated, although bookings are preferred. You can book via 1800 675 398 (tell the operator you want to book this clinic) or online at:

Eligibility  

Vaccinations will be available to all staff, students, their families and other local community members.  

What to bring 

Students and families should bring the following to the pop-up clinic:  

  • a face mask
  • photo identification 
  • a Medicare number or , if you have one.

We have written to your child to provide them with information about the details of the pop-up vaccination clinic.  

Please speak to your doctor if you have any questions about vaccination and your child and your own individual health circumstances. 

Consent 

As a parent or carer, you can complete a  for your child to take with them, or you can attend with your child to provide consent in person. 

Students can consent to vaccination themselves if a health professional assesses them to be a mature minor. That is that the health professional assesses that they understand the information relevant to the decision to be vaccinated and the effect of that decision.

If you and your child cannot attend the pop-up vaccination clinic, you can book and receive your COVID-19 vaccine at a state vaccination centre, Commonwealth vaccination centre, participating GP clinics, pharmacies or community health services.

Students who are currently using the School Bus Service (ie living in the Shepparton/Mooroopna area) are required to submit an Allowance Application - Public transport travel form for the 2022 school year.  Please complete, sign and return the green form to your current school campus before the end of this Term.  Without a new application submitted and a 2022 Bus Pass travel student will NOT be allowed  to travel.
