Earlier in the term, the 2024 SchoolAerobics National Championships were held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide where local Shepparton club Revival Aerobics Studio took on the best in the country!

The squad of of 28 athletes along with their families, headed over on August 8-12 where they performed their routines in front of judges on the national stage.

ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ student Caitlin Farrall competed in the Secondary Senior Solo, Secondary Teams 'Anarchy' audition and cheer team 'Time’s Up!' categories, while coaches Daniel Johnson (ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢) and Sean Reynolds (Geared 4 Careers) also competed in solo/ teams as well as coaching their athletes to victory!

Later in August, Revival headed north to the Gold Coast, for the FISAF National Championships where their squad competed at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre from 28-31 of August.

Over the week, ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ student Caitlin Farrall competed in the Youth Advanced Individual category where she took home the gold medal and the national title for her category. Caitlin also competed in the Junior Fitness Team category with her team 'Anarchy' with fellow squad athletes, placing 5th in the finals round on Thursday evening.

Revival coaches Daniel Johnson and Sean Reynolds also competed over the weekend in the International categories, where Daniel took home the gold in the International Masters Male Individual section and Sean took home the silver in the International Adult Male Individual section.

Over the two massive national competitions, Revival’s squad took home a total of 19 medals including 7 x gold, 6 x silver and 6 x bronze.

ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢  is again looking to employ trainees in 2025. Ideally, the students should be finishing Year 12 this year.

The traineeships are a partnership between The Apprenticeship Factory and GOTAFE. Students who complete the year, attain a certificate and work closely with an Apprenticeship Factory mentor as well as a representative from TAFE throughout the year.

The positions are full-time and trainees are involved in a wide variety of school-related duties. Interested students must be enthusiastic, be prepared to work closely with staff and students, be well organised and show initiative.
